Beyond Grashopper Point

Last week, Adam and I got out of the NAU bio lab and drove down oak creek canyon. We wanted to hike up the east side of the canyon, but had some trouble finding a good access point to cross the creek and get on the trail.

 Ideally, you can park at Grasshopper Point parking area, cross the creek, and locate Casner Canyon trail. From there, you can hike S/SE into a side canyon that overlooks Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona.
