In Case of P.A.D.

Post Awesome Depression.
It's the aftermath of adventure. The pinch that reminds you of reality. And it sucks.

My semester abroad has come to a close, and I have no regrets. I got to explore the outdoors, live the French life-style, go to school, and make lots of friends. Awesome, right?
But as my big brother would always say, adventure is everywhere. He is the master of rendering the adventure. There is still so much to explore in the Pacific Northwest, and all the things I enjoyed doing in Europe I know I can do on the West Coast. But there is something special about being on the other side of the world.
While I resent this plane that is carrying me far away from four months of pure fun and adventure, I know I will return one day. So for me, it isn't Goodbye, but until next time.
As we say in France, à la prochaine!
