And Finally to the Summit

Finally hiked to the top of Cezanne's mountain. We evaded the bad weather. Winter Hiking is so refreshing. St. Victoire is a prominent peak that rises about 1000 meters above sea level with excellent views of aix-en-provence and the Mediterranean sea (as seen in the distance of the photos below). The trail head is easily accesible by public transportation and is open year-round. The GR 9 trail goes to the summit, and eventually beyond towards Frejus.
