I leave tomorrow for Zurich, via Deuche Bahn (the super-efficient German train system).
I don't know when the next time will be, when I am sitting at a cafe, listening to the street noise of Paris; biking in the Loire Valley, staying at a youth hostel, chasing riots in Greece, Hiking along the calonques in Cassis, or having dinner at the Haufbrauhaus in Munich. I think it may be awhile.
Every day of this trip brought something new: friends, culture, food. I will look back with fond memories of those explorations.
2 days ago I was at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. Yesterday I got a little lost in Salzburg [intentionally ;) ]. Today I skipped my skiing trip to a cross country ski park outside of Munich. I've been feeling rather sick since Saturday. I did get to walk around Munich though. Cheers to Bavaria for being so "German" in appearance (ha).
I will be continuing to update this website with a summary of the trip to Europe. It will have statistics on the number of cities I visited, number of trains and buses I took, etc.
THEN, after Christmas, this blog will be continually used as a data base for places to outdoor-recreate around the U.S. Like places I go bouldering, skiing, backpacking, cycling (and all other outdoor-sports that I attempt).
It's been real. Thanks for following my trek and then my semester in Aix-en-Provence.
Explore everywhere. Explore everything. Render the Adventure.
Au Revoir Europe.
Bonjour Aux Etats-Unis
